Automotive Technology Enhanced Equipment for Career Development |

Yuba College Automotive Technology Department offers one and two-year curriculum programs designed to equip students with certifications and/or licensing necessary to obtain entry-level positions within the automotive industry, including automotive dealerships, fleet service, smog technicians, heavy equipment internships, as well as employment within the auto body and paint industry. The Yuba College Automotive Technology program is fully master certified in all areas of diagnosis, service, and repair. The program is certified by ASE (Automotive Service Excellence)/NATEF (National Automotive Technician’s Education Foundation), ATTS (Automotive Technical Training Standards), and is a B.A.R. (Bureau of Automotive Repair) and smog licensing training facility. Yuba College has a complete state-of-the-art automotive service and repair facility including auto body, paint, refinishing, diagnosis, and repair. Students entering the program can achieve individual certificate level, fully master mechanic certification, B.A.R. licensing and/or achieve an Associate’s Degree. Yuba College has a high placement rate for students and most are able to obtain viable employment within the automotive industry upon completion of their course of study.
