Self-directed Training Focuses on "Gap Analysis" and "Evaluation Tools"

West Los Angeles College’s Center for Economic Development and Continuing Education, (CEDCE), developed two self-directed, computer-based professional development CDs for faculty and administrators who participate in workforce development training.

The CDs focus on how to conduct a “Gap Analysis” with an industry partner so that effective training programs can be developed based on business or industry needs; and, how to evaluate programs, student learning, and student satisfaction as part of the continuous improvement process of training development and delivery.
