Petroleum Technology Certificate Offered at Taft College

The Petroleum Technology Certificate Program is designed to provide an opportunity for industry personnel to upgrade their skills and for non-industry personnel to gain exposure to the petroleum industry. The students are offered a variety of options in addition to a core of required courses. This allows the students to specialize in areas that are of particular interest to them. The specialty areas include the following:

Upon successful completion of the core courses and the courses in one of the specialty areas with a 2.0 (C) grade point average, a certificate of achievement will be awarded.
