Skyline College Career Center has a strong focus on serving the community. In 2002-03, in cooperation with a Workforce Development grant for laid off workers, 120 such workers came to the college for counseling, assessment and retraining in Bio Technology, and Pharmacy technology. The career center helped students with their resumes and video-taped mock interviews. Almost all the biotech students got positions with Genentech. For More: padron@smccd.net
