Newsletter Targeted at Students With Undeclared Majors

Sierra College’s Career Development Center launched its first issue of “The Undeclared” in Spring 2003 in an effort to encourage students with an undeclared major to explore career options and opportunities.  Volume 1, Issue 1 featured careers in Art, Forensics, and English along with information on average wages earned by educational attainment.  Additionally, students were offered an opportunity to win prizes by bringing the newsletter to the Career Center and filling out an entry form.  The one-page newsletter, printed on brightly colored paper, was distributed primarily to students in English A, Math A & D and Career Development courses.
