Women Exploring Careers in Nontraditional Occupations |

Shasta College developed curriculum that focuses on nontraditional occupations for women. The curriculum can be infused into general studies courses, and contains information on local career options, barriers to nontraditional employment, and helps students to explore solutions to those barriers. Students also develop a plan for obtaining a vocational certificate or degree in the nontraditional occupational program of their choice.
