Special Populations Leadership Training |

This best practice provides support to special population students who are traditionally underrepresented in Science and Math programs. One aspect of the program is Leadership Training. The training helps students develop interpersonal skills and an understanding of some basic psychology regarding what encourages individuals to perform at peak levels. It also stresses the importance of balancing tasks, developing communication skills, and how to motivate others via leading by example.
