Curriculum Developed for Time Compression Technologies

 

 

Saddleback College has developed curriculum in collaboration with four other colleges to train Time Compression Technicians to assist students and employees with modeling 3D digital designs.

Funded through a grant from the National Science Foundation, the curriculum puts special emphasis on Sold Modeling for 3D designs in manufacturing, architecture, and entertainment industries .

The five modules include: 1) Basic Concepts of Rapid Prototyping, 2) Fundamentals of Product Design, 3) Current Rapid Prototyping Technologies & Concurrent Engineering, 4) Materials in Rapid Prototyping, and 5) Rapid Prototyping for Artistic and Architectural Design (Animation).
