Counseling Center offers on line career/instructional guide |

Sacramento City College’s Career Center offers an on line resource for students who are trying to navigate through academic and career choices. The Web page, titled “Why are you here at Sacramento City College?” includes five possible student responses including: 1) I am coming to college to take a few courses, 2) I am coming to college to make a career change, 3) I am coming to college to complete a one or two-year program in vocational training so I can leave college and go to work, 4) I am coming to college to transfer to a four year college or university, and 5) I don’t know why I am coming to Sacramento City College or what to do! Each link directs students towards appropriate resources that can help them determine what courses to take and how to evaluate their career interests.
