RISE Program provides support services to students on academic probation/dismissal |

Sacramento City College is a diverse campus with a student population of over 50 percent ethnic minorities. Every semester over 3,000 students are placed on academic probation or dismissal and, while failure crosses all ethnic lines, it is disproportionately higher in students of color. The RISE program targets these students, providing them with a comprehensive array of services so that they can complete their educational and career goals. RISE offers case management counseling, tutors, enrichment activities, and other forms of assistance.
