FastTrac ^TM helps Veterans starting as entrepreneurs

Riverside College’s Office of Economic Development began FastTrac ^TM  in October 2002 as a pilot program designed for Veterans and Service-Disabled Veteran Business Owners and Entrepreneurs. 

Developed by the Kauffman Foundation to foster entrepreneurship in business, FastTrac ^TM  is sponsored by the National Veteran Business Development Corporation, The U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. 

The program consists of thirteen 3 ½ hour classes in subjects such as entrepreneurial mindset, management, legal aspects of business, marketing, finance, operations and growth, money sources, and electronic commerce. 

At the conclusion of the training, each participant will receive a personal computer loaded with business software.
