GIS Training offered to K-12 Instructors

Rio Hondo College’s Geographic Information System (GIS) Program provides innovative technology training to the K-12 community through a series of free, weeklong workshops on GIS.

The Program markets the workshops through presentations at high schools and other venues such as “GIS Day”, attended by over 300 residents and sponsored by the City of Whittier, the City of Santa Fe Springs, and the City of El Monte.
