GIS Training integrated into Multiple Curricular Areas

Rio Hondo College’s Geographic Information System (GIS) Program curricula has been incorporated into multiple subject areas including Facilities Planning, Environmental Haz-Mat, Fire Science, Law Enforcement, Business, GeoSciences, and BioSciences. 

Additionally, a new Learning Communities course was offered for Spring 2003 that combined English 101 (Analytical Writing) and GIS 120.
