Outreach and Recruitment to Nontraditional Students in Aviation |

Reedley College developed an intensive recruiting schedule to attract women into the Aviation program. Current students and graduates served as ambassadors and presented potential aviation students with information on the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program. Recruits are provided with peer mentors and exposure to other nontraditional workers in the work force. The project also provides the hand tools necessary for employment in the Aviation and manufacturing industry.
