Pasadena City College Career Center Sponsors Several Local Events |

The Career Center sponsors several events, including a job fair co-sponsored with DSPS that brings 50 local businesses on campus to recruit. A volunteer recruitment day called “Helping Hands Day” is sponsored on campus once a year with an on-going volunteer program coordinated through the Center. Over 450 non-profit organizations are in the area and represent a significant part of the economy. The Career Center receives a $2500 grant from a non-profit organization to host this event. Tables and umbrellas are set up for at least 50 non-profit organizations that attend for the purpose of recruiting student volunteers.
