Aviation Technology Program Prepares Students for FAA Exams

  

Orange Coast College’s Aviation Technology program provides hands-on training in five distinct technical areas: Airframe, Powerplant, Airframe and Powerplant, Avionics, and Helicopter

The training facility is a certified FAA approved program, has 17 aircraft and helicopters that are used for maintenance training, an enclosed Engine Test Cell for reciprocating and turbine engines, a 26-station computer lab with over 19 aircraft and avionics training programs, and an on-site FAA computer testing station. 

Upon completion of FAA approved programs, students are eligible to take FAA exams and receive an Airframe and Powerplant license.
