College Deaf Center Provides Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students

   

Ohlone College has one of the largest and most comprehensive programs in the West that meets the academic and vocational educational needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

Services are extensive including counseling and in-class interpretation services.  On line handbooks are available for faculty on how to improve the classroom environment, and for students on how to enhance classroom learning. 

The Ohlone College Deaf Center also offers training services including an Interpreter Preparation Program and American Sign Language Program.
