Student High Tech Access Specialists for Disabled Students |

A Student High Tech Access Specialist was hired to provide direct assistance to disabled students needing adaptive technology. Disabled students came to the adaptive technology lab on campus for individualized training from the student high tech specialist on adaptive software and available equipment. The student high tech access specialist also participated in the recruitment of disabled high school students. The college developed an on-site orientation program for disabled high school students as part of the annual Spring recruiting effort. This resulted in new matriculations at the college.
