Mt. SAC Partners: VTEA Paid Tutors (in class or after-class) |

With VTEA fund supports, our department was able to hire student tutors for students needing extra and supports help in various courses either in study groups after-class and/or in-class during lab sessions. Many otherwise at-risk students, re-entry students and/or shy (won’t-ask-for-help) students were able to gain help and confidence to succeed in class while student tutors get financial assistance and satisfaction in helping others. VTEA funds well spent.
