Career Development Infused into College Curriculum |

Moorpark College received a federal grant in fall 2002 to infuse career development experiences into high school and college curriculum. The college has an active high school program, located on campus, for high-achieving students who want to take a combination of high school and college classes. Students are offered interdisciplinary academic instruction that is linked to technical education from one of the college’s four career institutes. Industry partners who have pledged contributions such as internships, mentorships and work experience opportunities include Turner Broadcasting Systems, Maxon Computer, and Los Robles Medical Center – Diagnostic Imaging.
