College Selected for Participation in National Innovative Learning Initiative |

Mission College was selected in 2002 to participate in a National Learning Communities Project along with 20 other colleges and universities across the country. The initiative focuses on strengthening innovative approaches to college teaching and learning through the use of learning communities. Leading the national project is The Washington Center for Undergraduate Education, based in Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Participants from Mission College will attend a five-day institute at the Center and then begin the process of building a learning community initiative on the Mission campus.
