UCLA students act as peer counselors/tutors for career counseling and the transfer process. |

L.A. Valley College students feel comfortable when they meet with the former LAVC students who are now at UCLA; the UCLA students come to the LAVC campus, work with community college students, and help them with career counseling and the transfer process. Because the LAVC students see that the former LAVC students successfully transferred to UCLA, this process takes away the stress of the up-coming transfer. UCLA students act in this way as peer counselors/tutors.
