Lassen Power Generation Technology Program in Collaboration with Industry |

The Power Generation Technology Program is a unique course of study - only offered at Lassen Community College. The Program has averaged an 87% placement rate over the entire 21-year history of the Program. With the initiation of three on-line courses and the establishment of specific articulation agreements in August 2004, students may complete required Program course work at either the College of the Siskiyous or Shasta College before attending the remaining classes at Lassen College in Susanville. Graduates from the Power Generation Technology Program are working across the United States, as well as throughout the many regions of California. The quality of the Program is demonstrated by the high placement rate, the high starting salary range, continued industry scholarships and the support of an industry advisory board that features three national companies: Covanta Energy Systems, Wheelabrator Technologies, CMS Generating Systems.
