Tech Careers Conference for Recruiting High School Students

Hartnell College hosts a two-day Tech Career Conference to recruit high school students, most of whom are not knowledgeable about computers or careers in technology, and have limited English proficiency.

Presentations are provided by fulltime Computer Science and Information Systems faculty.  Interpreters are provided to assist limited - or non - English speakers.

Workshops focus on students' goals and opportunities for education and training at the college.  Activities include hands-on multimedia, animation,  robotics projects, networking fundamentals and taking apart a computer and putting it back together.
