Students studying Digital Media learn fundamental concepts and techniques applicable to the field as well as other's programs in multimedia, new media, digital art, etc. Digital Media is the use of computer technology to create, manipulate, and combine different media: text (words, equations), graphics (photography, art and design images, charts and graphs, CAD drawings, animation), audio (spoken words, music, sound effects) and video (motion picture/film, animation, special effects) with links (connections) that let the user navigate, interact, create, and communicate. http://www.gavilan.edu/DigitalMedia
