On-Line Career Development Class developed by Career Center Member.

A Fresno City College counselor who is a member of the Career Center “at large” team, has developed an online career development class.  The curriculum for the class incorporates links to free sites – e.g. free online career assessments and sites for researching careers.  The course, called “Guidance Studies 48, Career Planning”, was created and is taught by Renee Harris.   Renee may be reached for more information at FCC’s Counseling Center at (559) 442-4600 ext. 8634, or by email at renee.harris@scccd.com

Curriculum for this class is also integrated into sections of the online GS 41 Transitions class taught by Linda Mendez, counselor. (GS 41 is a class for students who are on academic probation.) At certain points during the semester, the two instructors coordinate topics so that students in each class come together to share the same website, assignments and online discussion group.
