Contra Costa College’s Transfer and Career Center communicates pertinent information directly to students with self serve folders full of career oriented resource material. “We have round tables in the center that are seen when the student first arrives. These tables have colorful plastic binders with bound pages and flip holders for announcements, and include calendar and meeting info. Stand alone flip charts-10 in number-are easily identified and are accessible-we put information on both sides of pages.” Donna Floyd, Dean of Student Services, Contra Costa College.
