Through a $2.2 million Department of Labor grant, College of Alameda launched the Alameda Transportation and Logistics Academic Support Initiative (ATLAS) in July 2008.  ATLAS was designed to train East Bay workers for employment in warehousing and logistics.  The eight-week Warehousing Logistics Curriculum includes job readiness training, basic math and English skills for warehousing employment, and basic warehousing and logistics training.
